Important Admission Dates, 2011:
Submission of Online Forms: From 7 June, 2011 [2 PM] to 13 June, 2011 [8 PM].
Application Money Submission to Indian Overseas Bank: From 8 June, 2011 to 14 June, 2011 (during banking hours [9.30 AM to 2.30 PM on weekdays]. No submission will be accepted on Saturdays and Sundays)
Date of Publication of FIRST Merit List (s): by 25 June by 4PM
In the history of education in India, the achievements of the City College need to be remembered not only for its pioneering efforts in the field of modern education in the country but also for the fact that it is the embodiment of the liberal spirit of those master minds that enriched the nineteenth century renaissance in India.
The City College of today had its modest beginning in the City School which was founded on January 6,1879 by the Sadharan Brahmo Samaj. Late Ananda Mohan Bose, the then President of the Samaj had borne the initial expenses of the foundation of the School, which was repaid within a short period.
