Selection Criteria for Undergraduate Degree Courses Admission, 2011

Formulation for Merit marks :

For all applicants having TWO Language subjects : Total of the ‘Best Five Subjects’ = First Language + Second Language + Best Three (3) out of the remaining conventional subjects.

(For Candidates with 2nd language irrespective of Board follow this rule.)

For all applicants having only ONE Language subjects : Total of the ‘Best Five Subjects’ = English + Best Four (4) out of the remaining conventional subjects.

(For Candidates without 2nd language irrespective of Board follow this rule.)

Compulsory Environmental Studies will NOT be considered in either case.

MERIT MARKS = ‘BEST FIVE SUBJECTS’ as mentioned in column (2) + Subject Marks. [For Honours Admission] (Except Sociology (H), Education (H), Environmental Science (H), Economics (H)).
