Post-Graduate Diploma in Information Security (FPGDIS)

Eligibility:

(1)  50 percentile or more in the GA paper AND

(2)  50 percentile or more in (GA + CC) combined for (E & I levels)

Or

50 percentile or more in (GA + CO) combined for (D & G levels)

This is equivalent to a (GA + CO) combined Standardized Score (SS) of >=103

How To Apply:

Admissions to the FPGDST/FPGDIS-2011. The application form for this course is enclosed. Any candidate eligible as per the criteria given above can apply and submit the following:-

(a)   The enclosed application form duly filled in OR a printed copy of the filled-in online application form available online at http://cst.cdacmumbai.in. It is recommended that candidates fill up the form online and submit a print-out of the filled-in form along with the requisite enclosures (required certificates and payment) to the respective training centre of CDAC where the candidate is seeking admission.

(b)  A crossed demand draft for respective fee installment (as per the selected course i.e. FPGDST/ FPGDIS) as mentioned in the ‘Payment of Fees’ table is payable.

(c)   Photocopy of relevant convocation degree certificate or provisional/passing certificate from the university. The original certificate should be presented for verification ONLY at the time of admission. Out-station candidates should send a copy of the required certificate attested by a government gazetted officer or the principal of a school/college or a bank manager or a special executive magistrate. Those who do not have their degree certificate (including final year students who have appeared/appearing for the exam in 2011 in the month of April/May/June) at the time of admission will be given provisional admission, on submission of proof that they have already taken all the previous semester examinations for their degree. In such cases, the mark-sheets from the first to the pre-final semester showing that the student has passed in the earlier years and a certificate from the college that the student is currently in the final year of the qualifying degree/diploma and has appeared for his/her final semester of the final year in the first half of 2011, must be produced. These candidates will then have to produce proof of their qualifying degree on or before December 31, 2011 (i.e. the convocation degree or provisional passing certificate from the University). Candidates who are admitted and are unable to produce a proof of qualification within the stipulated deadline, will have their respective course admissions cancelled and will not be eligible for any refund. They can, however, apply for re-admission to the respective course and resume the course (or its equivalent) on completion of the required degree qualification. They will have to once again pay the full fees applicable at the time of re-admission. Please note that fees once paid cannot be carried forward to future FPGDST/FPGDIS batches.
