Applications are invited for admission to 

Diploma in Electronics Production and Maintenance (DEPM) 

M.Tech. (Electronics Design and Technology) (EDT)

Eligibility

For DEPM: 

a) Xth standard passed from a recognized board with a minimum average score of 50% (relaxable to 45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in Mathematics and Science subjects only

b) The candidates age should not be less than 15 years and more than 19 years as on July 01, 2011. Relaxation in age for SC/ST & PD ( Persons with Disabilities) Candidates will be as per GOI rules. 

For EDT (M.Tech): 

a) BE / B.Tech./ B.Sc. (Engg) Degree or equivalent in Electronics / Electrical / Telecommunication / Computers/ Instrumentation engineering from a recognized University with at least 55% of marks (relaxable to 50% for candidates belonging to ST/ST Category). A Candidate with BE/B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering with exceptional aptitude and knowledge in electronics may also be considered. 

b) The candidate should have passed the GATE examination with valid GATE score OR the candidate should have been serving in Academic Institution / Industry / R&D organization engaged in electronics product or system development for at least two years and should be sponsored by the employer. The sponsored candidate should produce necessary sponsorship certificate along with application in prescribed format. 

c) Candidates, not having valid GATE Score or Non-GATE candidates may also apply but their application will be considered if candidates with- valid GATE score are not available. 

d) Non sponsored students with valid GATE score, admitted to the M.Tech (EDT), are eligible for the AICTE scholarship of Rs.8000/- per month.

How To Apply

Cost of the Prospectus cum Application form for DEPM is Rs. 300/- (Rs.200/- for SC/ST/PD candidate) and for M.Tech (EDT) is Rs 500/- (Rs.300/• for SC/ST/ PD candidate) and Rs.2500/- for foreign nationals.

Section, DOEACC Centre, Aurangabad (MS), during working hours or through post by sending self addressed envelope of size 15 x 23 sq. cm with postal stamp of Rs. 50/- Demand Draft for application shall be of any Nationalised bank drawn in favour of Director, DOEACC Centre, Aurangabad, payable at Aurangabad (MS). 

In case of application form downloaded from website, the demand draft of the said amount, as applicable, must be enclosed along with the filled in application form. Candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PD category must substantiate their claim by enclosing proof for the same.

It is based in New Delhi with a network of centers around the globe. The DOEACC Society was created by the Department of Electronics to implement a scheme of the AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education), with a view to harness the resources available in the private sector for training in the Computers, with a view to meet the increasing requirement of the trained manpower.
