RRB Bilaspur Assistant Loco Pilot Aptitude Written Test Result

Indian railway board established first service commission in July 1945 for recruitment of staff in north India zone. For this service commission one chairman & to help him two supporting staff is positioned. In 1945 the service commission in Mumbai, Kolkata, Madras and Lucknow are established. All the nineteen railway recruitment board conducts recruitment of staff two times in a year. The advertisement of such an exam is published in news paper.
In 1942, a service commission was formed which had two members and a chairmen in it for recruitment of subordinate staff of North West zone. This commission was again reviewed and similar commissions were formed at Calcutta, Madras, Lucknow and Bombay under railway board. The main function of these boards at that time was recruitment of class III staff and some other functions as to help and provide advice to general managers on disciplinary matters which involved subordinate staff.

In 1948, Indian Railway Enquiry Committee again reviewed the work done by these boards and suggested that these boards should has one primary work i.e. recruitment of staff for Indian Railway. The other work of giving advices was withdrawn. In 1956, the method of recruitment for Indian Railway using this commission was approved. In early 1985, Railway Service Commission was renamed as Railway recruitment boards.
